    My husband’s job is to put my garden on the table. He does a lot of one iron skillet meals that he calls gruels. (Stolen from Steve Martin) A wonderful mix of local sausage, vegetables, and a sauce de jour. Whatever is handy goes in and delicious comes out. And the best part is that the dish crew (moi) has not mush work behind the meal.

    There are times when it’s just as easy to eat that fruit and vegetables raw and not worry about cooking them.
