Let him think he’s protecting them. Sometimes you have to act helpless to soothe egos.

And the truth suddenly dawned on them that the Jack-O-Lantern was on a table by the door. No one knew where THAT one had come from…

For all he knows he’s putting himself in harm’s way to save others, so Louie snarkers can just sit down!

On the intellectual scale (and correct me if I’m wrong), I think dogs rank above mice. So how is it that the mice here seem smarter than a dog, and can talk audibly when Louie can’t? And why can Raymond talk but Louie can’t? Oh yeah, it’s a cartoon, that’s right.

The mice are decent to let Louie guard them against a nonexistent threat. Good Evening, Crew!
