One of the paradoxes in Superman was: if every hair he has is indestructible how does he shave or get a haircut? (DC provided a couple incredibly lame and / or complex answers.) Apparently one of DM’s superpowers is the ability to remain smooth shaven.

In old DC comics, Superman shaved by using his heat vision reflected in a mirror. Why it didn’t melt the mirror I will never know. But, back then, we didn’t look for logic in comic books because, well, they were comic books.
