Feed the hungry(they are gluttons), give drink to the thirsty(they’re alcoholics), clothe the naked(they are nudists),….most of them are just humanist things one should do regardless of theology or lack there of. Prayer is useless but no harm done. If they have doubt it means they are learning to think for themselves. The dead have no more problems and no more pain or joy. They are part of the Cycle of Nature now. Sin is relative to your theology in many cases. So don’t bother me with your sins you see in me. I am fine with instructing the ignorant. But some wish to remain ignorant. All you can do is try. Patience with error is also a good thing. There is some overlap in our Venn diagrams.

Jeez! I deleted my last post and re-posted. Auto-correct changed sinner to dinner. Anyway, scolding may not be a spiritual gift, but admonishing the sinner is one of spiritual works of mercy. You have the corporal works: Feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, clothe the naked, give the homeless one a home, visit the sick, visit the imprisoned, bury the dead. Then the spiritual works: Admonish the sinner, instruct the ignorant, counsel the doubtful, comfort sorrowing ones, be patient with errors, forgive offenses, pray for the living and the dead.

The only church that I am aware of that has aposles, prophets, evangelists, etc. (all those mentioned above) is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
