Cloudy, slight chance of rain, predicted high of 54 (that’s a high?) we’ll see.
Our Patches is a high flying little kitty, some times. She’ll bomb out of my sister’s room jump on the chair arm and without stopping she’s airborne to the sofa arm then off the sofa into the kitchen. All that in seconds. Ghost is quick and chases Patches back and forth. It can be quite a circus around here.
I’m ready for my regular day, you know, mail, quick stop and home. Good thing I said that, I just remembered I got to go to the clinic for my vitamin shot this morning. A little different. :-)
The reason I didn’t write yesterday was because I was at the hospital all day for my yearly Oncology appointment.
They have this procedure of taking all these tests first, and then I see my doctor and he has all the results right there.
My blood work was all in the normal range, including the cancer markers. Hooray!
My mammogram was also good, dare I say “normal” again. We finally have a 3D mammo machine saving lives.
And my lung CT scan came out good. The spot he’s been watching is smaller! Which leads him to think it might have been an infected spot rather than calcification.
Yesterday turned out a bit more hectic than planned. We ended up not doing the bible study, but went shopping instead. She and I went to the grocery store, but after I dropped her off at home, I went on to Wally World and Sam’s Club. The I went home and discovered that I needed to go back to Wally World and the grocery store. While I was out the second time, I stopped at Office Depot and found a new computer chair. Much more comfortable than the first one which was driving me crazy. This one is not as well padded, but at least it doesn’t try to dump me off the front edge. I’ll donate the other one somewhere. Oh, and I still need to get back to the grocery store (they gave me the wrong size of detergent – they don’t keep the Pods on the shelf, you take a card to the cashier and they get it from a storage room for you).
Today is our card game back at the same house I spent the early afternoon yesterday, so I think we’ll just leave early so I can clear up the detergent mix-up on the way over there.
Mark, you mentioned how rambunctious your kitties are. Welcome to the club. Cats are so much fun, aren’t they? Stubborn, but fun.
High of 75 today and it’s 60 right now.
Sheesh! My typing is getting downright weird. More and more I am hitting the space bar just before the last letter of a word instead of after. I usually catch them, but if I leave a few behind, please understand that I am trying!
Quiet day here. I usually need it after family diner night. ;) Nothing special going on here today. I will be leaving shortly to have lunch with a friend. Yesterday it rained for the better part of the day and it is still overcast and dreary out. Our high is supposed to be 54 today and currently it is 46 out.

Good morning Vagabonds.Not going to be too bad a day today. Temp will be about mid 60’s with sunshine.
Not much to do. Just get communion and take it to my home bound friend.
After that I have to do a few odds and ends before I go home and have my coffee and read the paper.
Nothing much else to do in the yard.
May end up taking a nap .
