    Felicity could have talked directly with the USC admissions and drama departments, made the necessary contribution and she would not be going to jail and her daughter would be a happy trojan.

    Yes, but Jared’s father was ALREADY a criminal even before he made the bribe. (I’m not sure what this means, but I just thought I’d point it out………)

    Felicity is a contrite, humble wrong-doer by comparison with Lorie Laughlin, who can’t be decent even being dragged to it kicking and screaming.

    The thing that strikes me is that the monetary punishment is nothing  to folks like her. And the 14 days of confinement? Pfft. If she were black and selling cigarettes on the street, she’d serve at least 10 times as long… if she didn’t die when the cops arrested her.

    Facility(lol) got a slap on the wrist!!! A normally honest parent who mortgaged their house would pay a fine 10 times what the bribe was and spend two years in jail.
