The thing that strikes me is that the monetary punishment is nothing to folks like her. And the 14 days of confinement? Pfft. If she were black and selling cigarettes on the street, she’d serve at least 10 times as long… if she didn’t die when the cops arrested her.
Facility(lol) got a slap on the wrist!!! A normally honest parent who mortgaged their house would pay a fine 10 times what the bribe was and spend two years in jail.
