I called customer support at my TV/internet/phone provider and was told I could hang up and they would return my call. They also said I was number 524 in line and it would take about 25 minutes. They really need some HELP!
When I get one who is calling from India, I just repeat the most monstrously hideous insult ever in Hindi (written out phonetically as I don’t speak the language) and the calls stop coming for at least a year.
I have never and will never again suffer the abuse that I suffered working in customer service. My drill sergeants in boot camp were sweethearts compared to the unhinged people I had to deal with on a daily basis.
