    I like the third panel with the sweet innocent look, myself! The evil eye is good too. Today’s strip is GREAT! Can’t wait to see the shepherd, I hope we do.

    pseudonymous, the joke is that the readers’ assumption, as well as the vet’s, is that the little fluffy white bunny would have been helpless against the big strong German Shepherd. However, that assumption is confounded by the news that said German Shepherd (it’s not explicitly the same dog, but we’re expected to make that leap) got by far the worse from their “altercation.” That’s why Adolf’s wicked, knowing smirk in the last panel is at odds with his Bambi Eyes in the first three panels. Laughter ensues.

    I don’t think that’s significant. I see it as simply a drawing choice, so the assistant is seen as something more than just half a head popping into the frame.

    bunnies, especially does, will attack seen videos of them against dogs, cats and even tigers just need enough guts to fight until they can run
