Well, this is true but considering the toon comes from Brazil, you would think they have bigger walls (and fires) to concern about before commenting on other countries.
It might be construed that the Brazilian cartoonist is making a point that, while it’s too late for his country (and for the United States and Britain, as well), Italy still has a chance of backing away from the massive “stupidity” engulfing the world at the moment, if they would care to take it.
Extremism is self limiting. The problem is that the limit isn’t reached by just the extremists, but by everyone in the vicinity. And it’s not a “soft landing.”
