These scenarios just make the main powers who tend to create all the rules via trade and war look very weak and almost impotent. Who can countries rely on when everyone is fighting and threatening? the entire globe seems to be in flux…..at least, Canada still seems to be calm and interested in talking.
It hath ever been thus – the best interests of the world and its people, lost in the welter of self-interest of those who seek wealth and power, almost all of which are pathologically, avariciously narcissistic. By that very nature, they are incapable of comprehending, let alone accomplishing, a truly global community, thus are frightened by it, and do everything they can think of to derail/defeat it.
