I tried to draw my Siamese cat when I was in 3rd grade. My plan was to do a stitchery portrait for an art project. She’d never sleep in the same position so I had to make several drawings, create my own sketch, then keep going back to figure out where different colors of yarn fit. Why didn’t I just use colored pencils? Wish my mother had been a saver.
