Oh good, glad to know it was a rerun. For a minute there I thought time had gone backward.

Now that would be nice, could I be 30 again? Wait would I have to raise two kids again? Never mind….

Oops! Methinks someone goofed! I guess Lily is still in a bad mood today.

Today is:

National V-J Day

National Financial Awareness Day. I’m always aware of my finances and how little I have.

National Creamsicle Day. Darn and I don’t have any in my freezer! I guess I could run up to the Dollar General and get some. My favorite flavor is orange.

To joanknr from yesterday – April is a “tuxedo” cat – black & white like her mom, Dolly. I have not had many calico cats, but I have a muted calico now named Lovebug. She is one of the sweetest kitties in the world. And I have a tortoiseshell named Kay who is also very sweet. I don’t think I’ve ever had a calico or tortoiseshell who was not sweet and loving. I tend to get a lot of tuxedo cats though. Most of the cats I’ve had in my lifetime (and we’re talking a LOT of cats here!) have been sweet and affectionate. Not all lap cats, but at least they liked being petted. April won’t tolerate being touched at all and has been that way since she was a kitten. She’s 10 years old now.

Cats are the reason they invented burlap sacks.

It’s kind of right that in a summer of reruns, today’s rerun is a rerun of a rerun. Ooh, my head is spinning.

Don’t make Lily angry. You wouldn’t like her when she’s angry! On another note, went out to see the meteor shower last night, but I didn’t see any. Oh, well, it was still nice to look up at the stars in the sky.
