Oh my goodness. Farley actually looks happy while he is being brushed in Panel 3. I hope Elly was taking note of Elizabeth’s kind technique. She should have Elizabeth do this more often.

here’s a chore you can do next, Lizzie: vacuum up the dog’s brushed-off fur

Liz is wearing black overalls – Lynn should have drawn fur all over it. Any pet owner knows not to wear black unless you know the safest route where you could escape dog hair directly to outside into the car. Dog hair is difficult to remove from clothes.

Except from the dog. Teehee.

It seems the job is only half done.

We brush ours out on the porch. Just an idea.

Vacuum.

In real life, our dog loved being brushed just as much as Farley does here. Our last dog loved it so much that she fell asleep as we were brushing her…
