Now that I’m on my (free trial) membership and can post comments for a few days…I’ve followed (?) Banana Triangle faithfully (?) for at least a couple of years. I like to think of myself as an intelligent and open-minded person. I’ve read all of Lovecraft (more than once) and much of de Sade. H. R. Giger is one of my favorite artists. I’ve investigated unbelievable cults around the world. I have three cats I brought back to life using the techniques of Dr Frankenstein. And I still have to confess I am utterly baffled by it.Don’t infer from the above that I am repulsed or bored by Mr. Beutel’s work, not at all. I relish and admire it and look forward to my morning dose of Banana Triangle every time a new strip appears. And I will continue to do so until I am just a brain with wires coming out of it floating in a jar.
