The romantic part is, she gets what she wants and you get the lesser of equal value meal, and you splurge on shared appetiser, wine or dessert !

Hey, my wife would make sure I didn’t forget the coupon!

She’s mad because she brought a coupon too, and now she doesn’t get to use it.

I just bought myself half price chocolate and used a coupon. I love the thrill of getting 60% off. Yum!

“Oops, sorry, this coupon expired last week.”

Nothing wrong with that! No sir!

Nothing wrong with that as far as I can see! Why do people think that unless they’re given something at full price (whatever “it” is … flowers, jewelry, or maybe even restaurant meals), then the other person obviously doesn’t “love” them?!?

My husband and I are going out for Valentine’s Day dinner tonight at a restaurant with a $25.00 gift card that some friends of ours gave us for Christmas. The menu prices are pretty reasonable so the both of us should be able to eat for free (or almost free) and as far as I’m concerned, you certainly can’t beat that!!!!!
