When a Young Boy and my family was visiting My Grandpa on the Family Homestead in the Yakima Mountains,Washington My Brothers and I were playing out at His Barn When I caught a Big " Barn Lizard" (We called them.) with the Purple Throats. They Dared Me to Put It On My Face. Well you Don’t dare your Youngest Brother to Do Something. I of coarse Did It and the Lizard Slipped Out of my hands,Opened It’s Mouth and Latched Down on the End of My Nose. I started to Panic,It Would Not Let Go,My Brothers were Laughing their Butts Off as I Ran for Grandpa Screaming for Help. Grampa Broke into Laughter along with Mom and Dad while they Removed the Poor Traumatized Lizard from My Nose. They then gave Me the Nickname " Lizard Boy", " He Runs as Fast as He Can !" Took a Long Time to Live that one Down.
