Why is it the least experienced/youngest are those hired for lifeguard jobs? Yes, they get training but it puts a whale of a lot of responsibility on ones barely responsible for themselves.
Possibly because they work cheap, and don’t mind spending long hours doing nothing but sit and watch for possible problems. Knew a college graduate who planned to do that for his entire life until he faced losing his room and board at home. Unlike Dustin, he was given an ultimatum by parents who were not so tolerant.
