I guess third time wasn’t the charm. (Might as well try a different kind of do-dad, mister grease monkey.)

Cars are like women, when she meets the right distributor sparks [plugs] will fly. Oh wait they are flying. Back to square one. I am floored. Maybe the car is just run down and she is feeling a little tyred.

I had the “Check Engine” light come on. The code indicated incorrect pressure in my gas tank. The mechanic thought it was due to a bad valve for the carbon canister, and replaced that valve. A week later, it came on again, with the same code. The mechanic thought it was a bad gas cap, and replaced that. A week later, it came on again, with the same code. The mechanic though the new canister valve had failed, and replaced it. A week later, it came on again, with the same code. The mechanic replace a master valve, which fixed the problem.

Look at the smile on that cars grill! Some American brand cars are more foreign due to having parts from other countries. On the other hand some foreign cars are more American because they have a number of American parts and are assembled in the US.

I had a VW Jetta, German brand, assembled in Mexico that had some American made parts. Go Figure!
