Nothing going on today except the normal routine. So glad we decided to save our BBQ nite for tonight. It showered off and on all day yesterday. Today it’s supposed to clear up by noonish and then warm up.
Last night we watched The Trouble with Angels with Hayley Mills and Roz Russell. Loved seeing all those nuns. Takes me back to grammar and high school.
Rita, I haven’t seen that film in ages. I remember that I enjoyed it, though. I’ll have to see if we can get it through our streaming device.
Yesterday one of my fake nails popped off, so I took off the rest of them. I found a bad fungus under one of them! It has obviously been there for quite some time, so the nail tech should have spotted it at least two visits ago. So much for using him again. I will find a new shop and new tech so I can get the fungus treated and eventually have new fakes put on. As it is, that nail is about half an ugly green color. I put an anti-fungal cream on it and covered it with a bandage until I can get it properly treated.
Cards tonight, though I’m not sure Michael will be going with me. His back is really bad the past couple of days. Please pray for him.
The weather report says a mix of sun and clouds and that’s about right, high of 74 and a dewpoint of 53. So nice.
I read this morning one of those lists, this one was “Where You Should Retire in the USA” The list is from worst to best in descending order. Hawaii was number 50, I’m sorry Arthur, Massachusetts was at number 48, but then so was most of New England, along with NY and the Pacific Northwest in the 40s, Vermont came in at 37 and Maine was right in the middle at 25. Right now I don’t remember where Montana, Texas or Missouri come on the list but I recall Arkansas was number 1.
We are having another cool day here. It is only 72 and not expected to get much warmer. I like it! It keeps trying to sprinkle out there but it never lasts more than 5 minutes.
Well I need to get reading. I am meeting a fried at Ruby Tuesday’s for lunch in an hour and I like to be finished with the comics before I head out. Other than that it is pretty much a “do nothing” day. ;)

Good morning Vagabonds.Looks like today will be a little cooler and less humid with temp about 80. No rain in sight.
Barbara’s visit to the eye doctor yesterday was more or less about the same as before.
She is losing vision in her left eye but very slowly. The doctor is keeping a close watch on it so that it doesn’t accelerate quickly.
We were very surprised yesterday that we were only there for 1 1/4 hours and that was for a test, exam and making a new appointment. Hard to believe.
Not much this morning other than going to the chapel to get communion and take it to my home bound friend.
Afternoon will depend on what the weather is like.
