This actually happened decades ago, when USG had a third story laboratory which open to the building roof. In good weather, staff would eat lunch there and some would snooze for a few minutes.A young kid was hired in as a lb tech, The first day he ate with the rest of the gang and laid back to rest. The boss found him there in the middle of the afternoon and canned him on the spot. He was new and no one thought to check on him as they returned to work.
