    I’m glad they didn’t have that when I was a kid. I never flunked a class but Mom would have signed me up for a full load of classes anyway.

    Every three years we can opt to take a 6 hour driver’s education class in order to get a 10% insurance discount or point reduction. One year I tried an on-line version. Never again!! Having no classroom interactions made it boring, and material unrelated to local conditions and rules made no sense. Plus, the program was designed to force a minimum amount of time on every page, which was really aggregvating. A live instructor could have moderated these things much more effectively. It was a terrible experience

    I actually like online college courses. I finally went to college when I was 50. After the first semester, I took most of my classes online, with the exception of those that had to be done in a lab (chemistry), and those that I really needed the class and participation (algebra). I achieved two associate degrees within 2 years. Online classes can be both good and bad.
