I get a little tired of this sniveling used car salesman (you know the type) putting everyone down. But it is a very low blow when someone is obviously not well off and the sales person throws a couple of emotional punches at Rufus esteem and self-worth. The man has $5. Either find something in that price range or apologetically advise nothing is available in this store, but perhaps a few doors down….
Rufus would be better off buying one nice small piece of jewelry than a large fake piece. On the other hand, with this sales person and his limited knowledge, that probably won’t happen.
