“Big paper?” I haven’t seen one of those in many, many years. It got to the point where some days there wasn’t enough in the daily to cover the bottom of a birdcage let alone the expense of what they wanted for home delivery. All online anymore these days, though I do miss reading the physical daily with a cup of coffee in the morning.
They only reason she hasn’t cancelled her subscription, even though it’s only accurate on one day. But then she probably just keeps forget to cancel it.

When you’re retired (like I am) you loose track of what day of the week it is. I need to look on my computer to know.

My MIL has dementia and we got a clock that shows the day of the week with the time for just that reason.
