The fresh flowers were a thoughtful touch. Everybody is wrong about her – she left him stocked with vittles and thanked him. So there.

I was gonna say something like … ‘At least his stuff is still there’ … BUT …

It looks like – perhaps – Willow was sincere(?) … Maybe the note says something to the effect of, “Thanks for the shelter and food! I tried to pay you back as best I could! … I then saw you with your lady-friend in town! You are SO sweet! … Goodbye.”

Well … Rufus was always yearning for a lady-friend … Maybe, when it rains, it pours !!??
