I’m reminded of an old (SPOILER ALERT really bad) golf joke — two friends are on the course, and the first says that he got a 5 on the hole, then says, “No, it was a 4”. The second friend tells him, “Tell you what, just put down a 7. You actually shot a 6, but there’s a one-stroke penalty for improving your lie.”

It works if he can chip the ball into a moving golf cart (and if no one else is watching).

If he can chip the ball into a moving cart then why can’t he chip it into a hole?

I think that just might be cheating.

Interesting. I thought at least one golfer would comment that you can’t drive the cart onto the green.
