Tell her she’s welcome to earn the money for it. Ask her grandma if she can earn money doing something around the house. Or go to the neighbours. That’s what my brother and I did when we wanted to augment our allowances. The only time we got stuff for free was birthdays and Christmas, otherwise we had to earn it ourselves.

She just wants to be seen as a unique individual, like everybody else
