Puppies are wonderful if you have the energy and stamina to keep up with them and their needs, but consider that before choosing a puppy over an older dog in need of love and attention. There are many more of them awaiting adoption in shelters because someone took them as a pup and couldn’t handle the stress and work that it takes.
