    there is a ritual to it all. You have to dip a toe. You have to shiver and hesitate. All the while you know eventually you’ll just jump in and be fine. Rover kept the ritual from taking all day. That is why we have dogs, right?

    Went to Dunn’s Falls in Jamaica. One of the guides kept kicking that ice cold water on my back. I finally told him if he did it one more time I would knock him on his ass.
