I would’ve thought Tarzan would ask around if anyone had seen Pierre. Now, in the last panel where all we see is the back of Maxian’s head, we have to think that the plot thickens (say that three times real fast)! But how would Sam have become Maxian without the whole fort knowing it? I’ll just have to be patient.

I’d be shocked if Sam was the Captain. When you are that high on the food chain, a lot of people would know he isn’t Captain Maxian.

From the print on the door, the commander must be from Boston.
