The ides of June (yesterday actually) not to mention Flag Day, which I forgot (I’m such a bad boy). All that and less then a week till the Solstice (sigh).
Weather, gloomy, again. It’s Saturday grocery day, get my list going.
Y’all have a neat day and the Lord keep you close.
We are having a cool (only 70 this morning) wet day today. First storm rolled through about an hour ago and the sky is promising more. Think I will be staying home today.
Time to tour the toons. Everyone have a great day.
I’ve had a productive morning already. I managed to scrape the last of the rotten rubber backing off of Michael’s Coca Cola rug. Not an easy job, I had to use a paint scraper. I didn’t want it to clog up my washing machine drain when I washed the rugs. Then Michael and I got the last of the shelving up in the closet of the “garage” and we were done by 9AM. Now all we have to do is bring home the stuff to fill it.
I hope Rita is having a great time with her family!
We’re back up over 100 again today. We had a brief respite yesterday at 93.
We took Smokey to the vet yesterday and she has a clean bill of health plus her shots. She’s been acting so differently since the kitten has been here that we’ve been worried. She really perked up at the vet’s office, though. It’s a new vet for us, and they specialize in cats. The exam room was filled with a cat tree, soft places to snuggle down and lots of things to explore and explore she did! She was more active there than she’s been in a week. Plus it seems to have carried over to when we brought her home. She’s more active now which is good.

Good afternoon Vagabonds.Hot sunny day with temp close to 80.
May have some light scattered showers tomorrow.
Going to have lunch and then get ready for church at 4 p.m.
What I will do afterwards I have no idea. May do some work in the garden.
Hope you all have a good day today and a better one to all you fathers tomorrow.
