    I’ve always considered underwear to have 3 holes. One for each leg and the large one for the waist.

    If they’d manufacture underwear with three leg holes you could get a whole week’s wear out of them. Left leg and right leg in holes #1 and #2 respectively for two days, then two days with left leg and right leg in holes #2 and #3. Turn ’em inside out and repeat. That gives you 8 days actually, in case you need an extra day because they possibly might be getting slightly dirty…..
