OK, I unfollowed this strip once before for do this and if it does not get back to woman in his house in the mext few strips I am going to delete this strip from my list. I hate when a new story is started and then abandoned for weeks at a time.
Rufus shouldn’t be so somber, like he was weeks before when Melba was still favoring Bertie (or so it seemed) … He has the same sad face (Panel 3) as back then!
Melba is obviously liking Rufus, at least as a close friend – and not so dismissive!

We need to keep in mind Melba did not see his old jacket after it was ripped up by the dog. So in fact, it does look just the same to her.
