Self respecting Democrats don’t want impeachment – per se.

Democrats and Republicans alike know who would win – bigly – though, to be sure, not by any innocence of his own.

In fact, articles I’ve been reading this weekend seem to indicate that Republicans are the ones practically daring Democrats to impeach.

Etched into their minds is the Clinton effect: He won – bigly – after he was impeached.

And 45 is already playing the martyr card.

Dag nab, how did we end up with someone so evil that nothing legitimate appears able to stop him?

    I’m with Carmen for once.

Start with the most recent SC picks and the Senate majority.

Now he’s saying his first two years in office were “stollen” from him so he should be given two more years to make up for it. Frickin idiot republicans would probably vote for that. WE should get back the last 3 years of our sanity “stolen” from us! By the way dumpty, “stollen” is German cake. Moron.

Mr. Stantis, getting rid of “em all” is done at the ballot box.Impeachment is a tool for crimes, not for political opposition.

“You don’t even have to be convicted of a crime to lose your job (as president) in this constitutional republic if this body determines your conduct as a public official is clearly out of bounds in your role,” – Lindsey Graham 1999

“Because impeachment is not about punishment,” he said. “Impeachment is about cleansing the office. Impeachment is about restoring honor and integrity to the office.” – Lindsey Graham 1999

“The problem is lying under oath and obstructing justice. The subject matter is not what is significant here; it’s lying under oath and obstructing justice.” – Mitch McConnell 1999

“We are miraculously transformed from politicians to people who leave their Republican and Democrat labels at the door…We’re there to seek the truth and to find out whether the president is guilty or not guilty, and no stone should be left unturned to make that determination.” – Sen. Chuck Grassley 1999

“It is crucial to our system of justice that we demand the truth. I fear that an acquittal of this President will weaken the legal system by providing an option for those who consider being less than truthful in court,” he said. – Jeff Sessions 1999

“He lied to protect himself from being prosecuted for a crime. I could think of no other lie that is a more egregious lie… I fear that if this country is confronted with a serious crisis over the next two years, that his ability to marshal the American public behind what he tells them is the truth would be diminished.” – Rick Santorum 1999

I’m doing my part next year and not voting for an incumbent Rep, Senator, or President. Come on; who’s with me?
