I can remember when Sears sold small-scale pasturizers and even homoginizers. If those were again available, family farmers could sell directly to consumers instead of the oligopsony getting all the money. After all, milk is mostly water and shipping water all over the country is not very efficient.

Milk is in surplus, too much is produced, the govt pays for it anyway with milk supports.
Time to end the Welfare for overproducing farmers.

In the dairy industry, it seems, the cream rises to the top.
In politics, it seems, so does the scum.

Want to sell more milk? Add carbonation, flavoring and high fructose corn syrup.
