The Democrats really need to remember what happened to the republicans AFTER the republicans successfully impeached their president in 1998 and yet failed to convict in the Senate. The republicans lost both houses of congress and only just barely manage to take over the White House due to their slight majority in the Supreme Court!
This is pure politics – is it worth it to hold the “moral high ground” while losing Congress and the presidency? Because this is exactly what will happen if democrats go forward with impeachment without the votes in the Senate to convict!
The panel on the lower left is most dead on. A number of years ago the GOP would be screaming if the trumpster’s buddies messed with our election process. Now there is nothing but sheep.

All you know is what comes out of this TUBE!” (pointing to the TV camera.)It is no wonder that the Wealthy Elite, along with Congress, has such contempt for the rest of us!
