Technically Gina can’t blackmail him any more so he could just get out but at least he’s using the honor code but Nate could back out.

You can take comfort in the fact that she will probably die friendless and alone.

Nice move, Gina. He’ll never make it. What happens if he fails?

Nate should just completely ignore her. This will make Gina mad.

And there’s the catch!

So Gina gets mean to Nate. Nate behaves like a perfect gentleman. Gina gets in trouble and Nate gets praised.

Not like she is being nice to him on a normal basis – ofc it will most likely backfire if the teachers notice him being nice to her, but she doesn´t return it.

I’ve said this before: I know this is heresy within the Big Nate canon but I kind of ship Nate and Gina (ducks behind cover)

Fri: In SS, Gina teases Nate, and he is forced to shut up, resulting in a “Oh, how I despise her” thought bubble.

Sat: Gina tattles on Nate for something he didn’t do, and he must be nice, take the blame, getting detention.

Sun: Nate nags to Francis and Teddy about the situation, only for Gina to see him, and Nate then starts complimenting Gina, much to his friend’s confusion.

Mon: Nate goes to dentention and tries to tell Czerwicki he didn’t do it, only for Gina to show up and Nate must lie and takes the blame again.

Tues: Nate tells Francis and Chad that he is tired of Gina and is prepared to get her back on prank day.

Nate is toast.
