As reported by CNN and many others, Trump wanted Nielsen to extend the family separation policy even to immigrants who were applying LEGALLY. She said it couldn’t be done, so she resigned. So, he wants to expand the FAMILY SEPARATION POLICY!

Somehow undocumented immigration sharply declined after the Great Recession and never really picked up again in the same way.
