Wow, I haven’t recited that list in 40 years and I was still able to rattle it right off: A Scout is Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous…

a scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, clean, and reverent. I still remember this from my boy scout days, and i’m 78 years old now. (didn’t have to look it up.) must have made a big impression on me. I think this was called the boy scout oath. is it still part of the boy scouts today?
