I don’t understand the kale fad…it tastes like dirty feet, or something. Spinach, particularly in a salad is good, but I’ve tried that with kale and BLECH! Maybe it’s the pesticides? They should add some flavor to that stuff if we’re going to be eating it. Maybe a a nice mustard vinaigrette flavored pesticide?
I’ve been growing kale for years without using pesticides and the plants are prolific. I don’t like it raw, but it is excellent in soups. One favorite is with Italian sausage, white beans and tomatoes
and you don’t think pesticides aren’t used in cattle or chicken feed? not to mention other crap they inject into the animals. unless you are buying organic, just accept it.

I think the danger in pesticides to all the other things it kills.
PS: try baby kale. More edible and tastier when prepared correctly.

Wait till they dig into the dandelion salad and try to slurp down the radish soup. Yummy!
