So all those people who have been surrendering. Where do you figure they’re planning to meet up?

Lisa hunts for some positive spin for trump, and this is all she could come up with.

What, exactly, did Donnie do there? Other than refuse refugees, that is.

Yeah, you alt-right types certainly do want to promote that lie. ISIS still has tens of thousands of fighters and adherents spread across Iraq and Syria. While the caliphate may be gone. the terrorists are still there to enact their horrors across the region.

Thank you George W and Dick C for letting them in to start with by destabilizing Iraq with no exit plan.

Trump has no clue, no brains, but he bows to the Saudis, collaborates with all the Nazi leaders, Russia, NK, etc, and anyone who’s evil he praises. WHY is he still here? Why is congress protecting this village idiot who is destroying everything in his path, including America? GOP is putting PARTY FIRST and not AMERICA! They are usless greedy deceitful liars…just like him.

Way to trivialize the tragedy of Syria and ignore the effort of the US military both in one poorly written op-ed comic.

One of the root causes of the problems in Syria is linked to climate change. The protests started because of high unemployment (plus corruption and suppression of political freedom) aused by the migration to the cities of so many people that lost their farms in rural areas due to drought.

ISIS formed because of the instability caused by removing Saddam; Cheney predicted it as Sec of Defense in 1992 but didn’t care when Halliburton profits were looking VERY promising in 2001.

The toon is accurate, but the problem I see is that while ISIS may be reduced to a pickup truck, that makes it more deadly in that its a mobile army. Just like stepping on a mud puddle, now you have many little puddles that are scattered about. ISIS isn’t destroyed yet, like Al Kaida, just its base of operations.

You can not change a culture with bullets, the American civil war is living proof of that.

Gotta give Trump credit for this along with giving the Golan to Israel and starting another war between them and Syria. Good times.

We just dropped bombs on everyone indiscriminately until they gave up.

Are there no war crimes trials anymore?
