Why did Chalkie even bother going to football practice anyway? Because Andy will have no one else to buy his round of drinks at the pub?

@NumberThree Today’s strip is again mildly funny . our Hero Mr Andrew Capp is again being sarcastic towards his poor beer provider Chalkie , why Mr White keeps taking Andy’s insults is beyond comprehension :o) right? , my avatar today says that so far this is the oldest I have ever been and I hope I can keep saying that for a long time , how was your day? ours should be busy , this morning has gone with Alex to the Health center where he works because she has a podology appointment , so I was home alone :o{ take care and win big at Bingo pal

Now that’s dedicated footballers, to play in the rain like that. And not like they’re getting paid or anything.

This one is funny. In my playing days, I was a goalkeeper so I can relate only too well – both to the misery of the weather and the miserable comment from Andy. I know that feeling, Chalkie.

I like rainy days, but I prefer to spend them indoors.

It was only after I’d moved to Arizona and was refereeing football that I realized that the game wasn’t always played in the rain and cold.

Of course, officiating a match played in 105-degree temperatures of Phoenix did make one a little nostalgic for the drizzle of Dublin.
