We once organized a treasure hunt based on Noah’s Ark. If it hadn’t been raining (rather appropriately, in retrospect), we would have offered the physical challenge of getting two of our three dachshunds from one point to another. Did refer to them in a mental puzzle: ‘In a couple of stops you’ll meet three adorable dachshunds. As you might guess, they communicate by barking. One bark means yes; two barks means no; multiple barks in rapid succession means you aren’t fulfilling your sole purpose as a member of the human race – namely, petting them. Hildy only barks the truth. Misty only barks lies. Lindy barks truth or lies, whichever she feels like at the moment. You ask one of them, “Are you the dog who always lies?” She barks once. If the hound you’re haranguing is Hildy, go to Wild Goose Gallery."’ [I forget how I referred to talking to Lindy or Misty, but each of them had an assigned location as well].
