Ya know, as a Wells Fargo customer since 2008…I can’t disagree with this. Now I’m even more tempted to switch to Chase. I’d already do it, but they have me by the balls _
I’m a bit worried about what will happen when BB+T Merges with SunTrust next year. Another Mega-Bank with a zillion rules and insane fees and loopholes??
We lucked out. Right after we got married, there was a local bank starting up. To attract customers, they offered a lifetime freedom from fees. We signed up. That has gone through five acquisitions since, but as these deals involve taking both assets and liabilities, the fee free aspect remains. It is now on the stagecoach. We don’t keep much money in it (no minimum balance fee), but add it to cover any charged amount while the credit card is still interest free.
