Is it a direct relationship between marketing and sales? I’d hate to have to work 25,000 times harder to sell that many books.

Maybe you could just put a bunch of copies out front with a sign saying “help yourself”.

Self help books are for people who need help from someone else.

My old church had a particularly complicated sound system so I made up a manual and photo shopped a Cathedral Sound System for Dummies cover.

Horace is an experienced crash test d…horse. One can avoid many mistakes by reading his self-help book.

In Horace’s world, there is apparently no Lulu.com , CreateSpace.com, or other POD—Print-On-Demand—publishers, who handle all order-taking and shipping, and even marketing. (CreateSpace is owned by Amazon, which automatically advertises such books, and Lulu has an arrangement with Amazon to do that as well; the books need ISBN’s in order to be eligible for that.) Fortunately for us—and our keeping tabs on Horace’s misadventures—our world is not so deprived (see: www.amazon.com/Year-Horse-Dark-Side-Collection/dp/1482506971 ).
