And now, it’s time for your most awaited show…. The Tale of the Giant Frog Creature from Outer Space!
(Ep #69) :
Brekk made a promise that he’d fight to vanquish the giant mosquito creatures and hound them till they’re destroyed. But he no shows at the war council meeting. Dr. Grekkson and Buzz Bug go looking for him.
They find him in his quarters, and that he has just woken up.
“Good morning, General”, greets Dr. Grekkson, and says, “are you feeling alright? You missed the war council meeting.”
“Uh… Yes”, says Brekk, yawning, “darn, I kept drinking too late into the night. Sorry, folks”, and he tries to get up, but collapses.
Dr. Grekkson calls in a couple of cadets and has him taken away to the hospital.
“He’s been drinking too much again, isn’t he?”, asks Buzz.
“Yes, I’m afraid so”, says Dr. Grekkson. “How much more can a frog take? He’s lost everyone close to him now, including his closest colleague.”
“We’ve all lost more or less, doc”, says Buzz, “what’s important is that we’ve got to move on. If not, it will suck the life outta us more than a giant mosquito creature from outer space could ever.”
That said, Buzz Bug goes to meet Brekk in the hospital. “Hi, General Brekk, I know you’re feeling lost. Take some time off if you like, but destroying yourself isn’t a solution to anything.”
“I’m sorry, Commander Buzz”, says Brekk, “this won’t happen again. I won’t rest until we’re done with this blooducking pests. How’s the war council meeting go and what happened to our plan of gassing the giant mosquitoes?”
“Ah, General Brekk”, says Buzz, “the allied team of scientists are coming up with a poison gas to kill the giant mosquitoes, but we’re afraid that that gas could have long term side efftof poisoning the ecosystem of Planet Diptera and also this Planet Bribbitt if used over here. We’ll have to use it sparingly, whenever really necessary, and avoid frequent use of the gas.”
“Ah”, says Brekk. "We’ll need every force we got against them. Wh
