Sixty’s always been old. It marks the end of middle age and the beginning of . . . OLD.
You are really out of the picture, eh? Sixty is not old any more, there is no old, unless the people in question are 20+ years older than you. But, that doesn’t count when they’ve died, then, it’s they were too young to die so early!!!
She’s right. Social Security keeps raising the age for full benefits. Right now 67 is officially old.
Results may vary. I look around at other 60 year olds & think I’m doing all right.
You know you’re officially old when most of your mail is from AARP and Medicare supplement plans.
