December 17 was the 107th anniversary of the Wright Brothers first flight.
I lived near Kitty Hawk for 14 years. I also went back to see the air shows.
One of the funny things back in the 60s and 70s was the “Man Will Never Fly Society,” who gathered on this anniversity and got drunk.
They said that man had never flown, it was all a delusion from drinking.
I could not make this up.
