An android is supposed to be a robot…. but one with humanoid form and/or behavior.
What can be called a robot, in the first place, and how human it has to be to qualify as an android is a matter of debate.
I’m pretty sure I’m neither… and my Android phone doesn’t look human at all.
Tigressy… that’s one of the things they tried on Comics.com before its demise.
They thought imposing Captcha on every comment, and also, limiting their length, and timing them out, thus losing whatever you were still typing, would help eliminate spambots and trolls.
Instead those things infuriated their users.
GoComics imposed a character limit a couple of years ago… at first it was really short, but now it’s almost reasonable.
Moxie is very good about cleaning up any crumbs or spills in the kitchen, but she contributes a lot of hair there and everywhere else, so I guess it’s a wash.

I have a little round robot vacuum that works pretty well. Reminds me of the movie “The Fifth Element”.
