When Republicans are queried as to WHY the funding of Donnie’s totally superfluous wall wasn’t funded while Donnie John’s party was in total control of the Congress, the usual argument is advanced that it would be useless to introduce “funding” in the House because any bill so introduced would be defeated in the Senate because, poor them, they didn’t have 60 votes necessary to ram it past the Democrats in the Senate!

If THAT’S their argument, how then do they explain the over 50 bills the House sent to the Senate to destroy “Obamacare”. I’m not "discovering the logic in their argument! There was NEVER any hope that ANY of those illogical attempts had any hope of succeeding – yet they continually made the attempt!
Could it be that VERY FEW Congressional Republicans EVER supported Donnie John’s idiotic wall?
Show us the real proof about the crisis and the need for a “big, beautiful wall.” The overwhelming majority is not there to physically see the so called crisis, it’s all crap to justify his campaign promise, that’s all that is, and screw the faith in his base. Show us the real issues down there and we might actually be convinced that the “wall” is needed, otherwise focus on something else. Yes, we all want border security and to keep illegals out but if they don’t belong here but there are better ways to do it. We hear so many mixed messages coming from the border areas one would think it was a Normandy type invasion down there, especially from DJT. If that were the case I’d be all for an Atlantic type wall like in WWII. Grow up, stop the fear and intimidation tactics. I never thought I’d live to see the presidency of this great country develop into this. Nixon was bad enough, we’ve had a few others that were no prize packages either, but this guy is a total embarrassment as a leader for my country which I love and hope one day soon we can be more focused on more than keeping anyone out of this country unless they’re wearing a MAGA hat.
Not only Trump, and Republican policies, but Facebook, texting, shopping on-line, most video games and using self-serve cash checkout in stores is further shutting ourselves off from interacting with other people. I know it is “progress”, but I still have one foot in the 20th century, and it’s going to stay there.
