That’s not nice.

Sounds like my older brother. He taught me chess when I was five but with some of the rules wrong so that he could correct me as I got better and got to where I might win.

…so you can only play alone?

I was going to say, ‘…so you can only play with yourself?’ but that’s the wrong take on this one! B^D

Is the game political? Is it about winning too much? Are the rules made up on the fly?

Some don’t invent the rules. They just tweak them …bigly.

Or… change the rules as you go
